Borgo della Madonnina

As you will see, the cost of renting one of the cottages at Borgo della Madonnina does not vary throughout the year. We have taken the decision to keep the prices constant in order to avoid adding a heating surcharge for the winter months. Tuscany is beautiful throughout the year, but we also have real seasons and real weather.  We prefer to give an all inclusive cost to cover gas and electricity in the winter months, rather than to add a heating surcharge to be paid at the end of your stay with us.

What's included
Cottage rental, bedlinen, towels, a welcome pack, gas, electricity and water.

Children
Children are very welcome at Borgo della Madonnina, but you should be aware that the cottages are surrounded by steep olive terraces. The sunbathing terraces of each cottage are fenced, but have steep drops beyond. Children must be supervised at all times

Booking Deposit
In order to confirm your stay at Borgo della Madonnina, a deposit of 25% of the full payment must be paid at the time of booking. This deposit is not refundable in the event of your cancellation.

Cancellation by you
Should you need to cancel your stay once it has been confirmed, you must immediately advise us in writing by e-mail. Your notice of cancellation will only be effective when we receive this. As we incur costs from the time we confirm your booking and may be unable to re-sell your period of stay, the following cancellation charges will be payable.

Where the cancellation charge is shown as a percentage, this is calculated on the basis of the total cost of the booking.

Period before start of stay within which written/email notification of cancellation is received by us:

more than 8 weeks deposit only
less than 8 weeks deposit + 20%
less than 4 weeks deposit + 50%
less than 2 weeks deposit + 75%

Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges (less any applicable excess) under the terms of any insurance policy you may have. Claims must be made directly to the insurance company concerned.
